AAPI Victory Alliance to Celebrate 5th Anniversary by Hosting AAPI Policy Conference: Looking Beyond the Midterms Into the Next Legislative Sessions
WASHINGTON — On December 5, 2022 at 9:00 AM ET, in the Third Way offices in Washington, D.C., AAPI Victory Alliance will celebrate the organization’s five-year anniversary by hosting the Asian American Pacific Islander Policy Convening: Looking Beyond the Midterms Into the Next Legislative Sessions, to bring together legislators, academics, and policymakers to transition from November election efforts to policy-making and governing into 2023 and beyond.
Centered around gun violence prevention, diversity in education, and reproductive rights, the conference will be sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA), Planned Parenthood, Everytown For Gun Safety, Third Way, and Service Employees International Union (SEIU). This policy conference will focus on creating a space for key members of AAPI communities across the country to unite and work towards building sustainable power for the AAPI community at large.
