Taylor Takahashi

Newcomer Taylor Takahashi stars in Eddie Huang’s highly anticipated directorial debut, “Boogie”, as lead character Alfred ‘Boogie’ Chin. Set in contemporary New York City, the film follows the story of ‘Boogie’, a Chinese-American basketball phenom who struggles to balance the expectations of his immigrant family with his own dreams of becoming an NBA player.

This is Taylor’s first acting role, which came about through his own love of basketball, while playing in a league with director, Eddie Huang. Taylor loves to create and is currently working on his new streetwear line Ototo (@ototo_clothing). Taylor currently resides in Los Angeles.
