Ashley Liao
Ashley Liao can currently be seen in the Apple TV+ series, “Physical,” starring opposite Rose Byrne. Best known for her role as Lola in the Netflix series, “Fuller House,” Liao has also guest starred on numerous series including “N.C.I.S.,” “N.C.I.S.: Los Angeles,” “Speechless,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” and “Bad Teacher.” She had recurring roles on the Tina Fey produced NBC series, “Great News” and “The Kicks” for Amazon.
Liao played the teenage version of Ali Wong in the Netflix romantic comedy, “Always Be My Maybe,” and starred as Princess Eleanor in the Disney+ original movie, “Secret Society of Second Born Royals.” She also had a leading role in the Debby Ryan produced film, “Jessica Darling’s It List.”
Born and raised in Orange County, CA and of Taiwanese and Chinese descent, Ashley Liao began acting at the age of 10 in community theater. Due to her outgoing and lively personality, her parents thought it would be a good outlet for her. After performing in a couple of musicals, including the role of Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz,” Liao’s friends encouraged her to try acting professionally. She began booking commercials and after a year, she made the transition to television and film.
Liao resides in Los Angeles. When she is not working or studying for her degree in communications, Liao enjoys singing, baking and handwriting letters to her friends.
